The Covent Garden based restaurant/bar ‘The 10 cases’ are expanding their business to provide a wine delivery service. This will take on the form of a mobile app through which customers select wines and a suitable delivery slot. The client was keen for the identity of this brand to comes across as modern and friendly without the fluff and pompousness commonly associated with wine. They also wanted to depict the direct relationship they have with the wine producers, without showing typical wine imagery - glasses, corks etc.
What was achieved?
The end result was a modern, approachable brand identity through the use of rounded but slick font ‘Comfortaa’ and a fresh but earthy and authentic colour palette. The brand mark depicts grapes which was contrary to the clients original brief but was done in a graphical style which they loved as it came across as contemporary whilst hinting at what the service is about. The grape falling into the word to form ‘drop’ depicts the transport of wine direct from the wine producers.
